Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrival Bhopal. Guided City Tour of Bhopal - Moti Masjid, Shaukat Mahal, Sadar Manzil, Gohar Mahal,Upper Lake, Kamala Park, Boat Club, orientation of Jama Masjid
Check-in to hotel, welcome drink, freshen up and proceed for Guided City Tour of Bhopal.
Begin with Moti Masjid, popularly also known as ‘Pearl Mosque’, it represents the rich history of the Bhopal Begums in India. The mosque was built by Sikander Jehan Begum who abolished slavery and setup the trend of the progressive woman in the city. Also visit the nearby Shaukat Mahal and Sadar Manzil, two royal buildings at the entrance of the Chowk area. Shaukat Mahal was designed by a Frenchman and combines Indi-Saracenic and Rococo architectural styles. Sadar Manzil or Hall of Public Audience was used by the erstwhile Nawabs of Bhopal for their interactions with the public.
Next, proceed to visit Gohar Mahal, one of the most beautiful structures of Bhopal constructed in 1820 by the first woman ruler of Bhopal. Then drive to Upper Lake, one of the most fascinating tourist places in Bhopal. Also known as ‘Bhojtal’ or ‘Bada Talab’, it is the oldest man-made lake and is the primary source of irrigation and potable water to the residents of the city. The scenic Kamla Park lies in the same vicinity and the royal garden is an attractive tourist attraction and hub for adventure enthusiasts. The Boat Club on the eastern side of the lake offers you to indulge in optional activities like parasailing, kayaking, canoeing and rafting, enjoy the ambience of the club, a photogenic sunset, aquarium or cruise the lake in a paddle, row or speed boat.
While returning to the hotel, we will view the largest mosque in India and one of the largest in Asia, the Jama Masjid also known as Taj-ul-Masjid.

DAY 2
Departure Bhopal. Arrival Pachmarhi, visit Bison Lodge Museum, Panch Pandav Caves, Pachmarhi Lake
After breakfast, check-out and leave for Pachmarhi, known as Queen of Satpura or ‘Satpura ki Rani’ that is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Surrounded by nature, history, and mythology amidst the Satpura range, legend has it that the five ‘Pandava’ brothers had visited Pachmarhi during their thirteen years of exile.
Arrive in Pachmarhi, check-in at hotel, welcome drink and relax.
Later visit Bison Lodge Museum is the oldest house in Pachmarhi, dedicated to Captain Forsyth, the founder of Pachmarhi.
Next, visit Panch Pandav Caveson a hillock are believed to have been a shelter of the Pandavas during their period of exile.
Later enjoy your evening with paddle boating at Pachmarhi Lake.
Return to the hotel.

DAY 3
Satpura National Park Jungle Safari, Jata Shankar Caves, Reechgarh, Christ Church, Duchess Falls, Handi Khoh, Dhoopgarh
Wake-up early to take the Jungle Safari at 6:30 am at Satpura National Park, a unique ecosystem with a long history of wildlife conservation that is a habitat of many species of mammals, reptiles and birds. The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests.
Then proceed to Jata Shankar Temple that has a natural stalagmite Shivalingam under the shadow of a huge rock. The stone formation resembles the mythological hundred headed snake ‘Sheshnag’ and the rock formation in the cave resemble Lord Shiva’s matted hair. These caves are very popular among devotees.
Next, visit UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, a unique non-use conservation area similar to the upper Himalayan peaks and to the lower Western Ghats.
Then, visit Christ Church, a true-blue colonial architecture of the British era with a tall spire, stone structure and Belgian glass panes that transport you to a bygone time.
Next, visit Duchess Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls that originates in the mighty Satpura Range. These gorgeous waterfalls create three different cascades in a beautiful gushing way. Also visit Handi Khoh, a cliff top destination with spectacular views of the valley.
Now, proceed to Dhoopgarh that is one of the best spots to experience a truly mesmerizing sunset. Enjoy the thrilling drive to the highest point of the Satpura Range and look at the layers in the mountain structurein the Mahadeo hills.
Return to hotel.
Overnight at Pachmarhi.
DAY 4
Departure Pachmarhi, visit Satpura Adventure Club, Sanchi Stupa. Arrival Bhopal
After breakfast, check out from hotel. Visit to Satpura Adventure Club to indulge in optional adventure activities.
Next, drive to Sanchi Stupa, a UNESCO Heritage Site to see one of the oldest Buddhist monuments in India. The Great Stupa is an important monument and one of the oldest stone structures in India that is a brick structure built over the relics of the Buddha.
Arrival Bhopal. Check-in to hotel.
Overnight in Bhopal.
DAY 5
Departure Bhopal
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for your onward journey or back home with sweet memories
